Wine Festivals: World of Pinot Noir Festival

It’s the time of year where I begin to put wine festivals on my calendar. I have visited large ones and small ones and the one thing I always leave with is joy in knowing wine brings us together. The World of Pinot Noir festival in Santa Barbara is definitely on my radar to attend. Last year I had the pleasure of visiting the Santa Barbara County Vintners area and I fell in love. Santa Barbara wine doesn’t always get the respect it deserves as one of California’s great wine regions.

Santa Barbara is a beautiful city two hours from Los Angeles. The drive on the Pacific Coast Highway is full of breathtaking views. The festival is taking place with the Pacific Ocean in the background and combines two of my favorite things – the ocean and wine. I can’t attend this year, but that doesn’t mean I can’t plan for 2018.

What wine festivals are on your radar? I would love to know.
