Books and Gadgets: A Book called Vino Italiano

One of my “go to” books over the last few years of studying and learning is this one: ‘Vino Italiano The Regional Wines of Italy‘.

It was given to me as a gift by a former boss who is a wine journalist and Italian wine expert – Michaela Morris. And I’m so thankful for it, because I might not have purchased it otherwise!

It introduces you to each wine region with an introduction of the grapes, the cuisine of the area, the top vintages, tasting tips and a little history of the region. The bonus is the recipes that are shared. You can cook and match the wine from the comfort of your own home! This is a good one to have on your shelf or give as a gift.
